ACCESSORIES: yarn needle, stitch markers and bulb-type stitch markers (which open and close), 4 or 5 buttons of 20mm.
Another yarn option: Sport or fingering yarn double strand with mohair, or a DK yarn which obtains the gauge or 950 (1100) 1200 (1250) 1325 (1400) 1425 (1450) 1575 meters of yarn (if you use two strands, you will need this yardage for each). Note that yardage may vary with DK yarn choice.
SIZE GUIDE
The Sweetgrass cardigan is constructed to have approximately 10 cm 4 inches of positive ease, which is 10 cm 4 inches wider than your upper bust circumference. If you have a larger chest than your upper bust, I advise you to take the largest part of your bust as a measurement for this model, due to the distribution of stitches on the shoulders and to add only 0-2.5 cm 0 -1 inch of positive ease.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE CARDIGAN
The first step will be to construct the back of the cardigan, we will start with the number of stitches for the upper back to knit the back in pattern, knit flat. After having finished knitting the back and putting the stitches on hold, we will then pick up the stitches on the left and right shoulders and following increases for the collar. Once this step is completed, each section of the front will then be knitted flat. The last step of the yoke will be to join each side from the front to the back. The body is then knitted flat back and forth, a folded picot hem finish is knitted at the bottom of the cardigan. Then, the sleeve stitches are then picked up at the armholes then knitted in the round, in pattern. The last step will be to knit the button band in double knit, then block your work and sew on your buttons.
