SIZE GUIDE
The Abbey Road Sweater is designed to have approximately 15–20 cm [6–8 inches] or more of positive ease — meaning it will measure 15–20 cm [6–8 inches] larger than your actual bust circumference.
If your full bust is significantly larger than your upper bust, I recommend using your upper bust measurement to choose your size for this pattern, due to the generous positive ease.
If you prefer a very oversized look, choose a size that allows for 25 cm [10 inches] or more of positive ease.
CONSTRUCTION
The Abbey Road Sweater features a classic saddle shoulder construction, beginning with the shoulders. The pattern starts by casting on the required number of stitches for each shoulder, which are worked flat in stranded colorwork. Once both shoulders are complete and placed on hold, stitches are picked up along each shoulder to shape the two front sections, incorporating short rows.
The front is then shaped by casting on stitches for the neckline and continuing flat. Once the front stitches are on hold, the stitches from the left and right shoulders on the opposite side are picked up to work a few short rows and shape the back. The two back shoulders are then joined, and the back is knit flat. The final step of the yoke is to join the front and back sections.
The body is worked in the round, featuring a stranded colorwork motif, and finished with ribbing at the hem. The collar is then worked in the round in ribbing. Finally, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and knit in the round, following the colorwork chart and working decreases, then finished with ribbed cuffs.

GUIDE DES TAILLES

CONSTRUCTION
Le chandail Abbey Road est construit avec des épaules de type saddle shoulders. Le patron débute par le montage du nombre de mailles requis pour chaque épaule, qui sont ensuite tricotées à plat en jacquard.
Une fois les deux épaules terminées et mises en attente, des mailles sont relevées le long de chacune d'elles afin de former les deux sections du devant, tout en réalisant des rangs raccourcis pour façonner l'encolure.
Le devant se tricote ensuite à plat après avoir monté les mailles de l'encolure. Une fois les mailles du devant mises en attente, des mailles sont relevées de l'autre côté des épaules gauche et droite afin de tricoter quelques rangs raccourcis pour former le dos. Les deux épaules du dos sont ensuite jointes, puis le dos est tricoté à plat. La dernière étape de l'empiècement consiste à joindre le devant et le dos.
Le corps est ensuite tricoté en rond en suivant un motif de jacquard, puis terminé une finition en côtes. Le col est relevé et tricoté en rond en côtes.
Enfin, les mailles des manches sont relevées autour des emmanchures, puis les manches sont tricotées en rond en jacquard. Des diminutions sont réalisées tout au long des manches, puis une finition en côtes.
