ENGLISH

The Sweetgrass sweater is an oversized sweater with a modern look with cable details. The dropped shoulder construction gives it exceptional comfort and an all-purpose fit. For an even more chic result, use two strands of suri or mohair like the model.

SIZE GUIDE
The Sweetgrass sweater is constructed to have approximately 25-30 cm 10-12 inches of positive ease, which is 25-30 cm 10-12 inches wider than the circumference of your bust. If you have a chest that is larger than your upper bust, I advise you to use the circumference of your upper bust for this model, due to the very great positive ease.
Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are therefore designed for a bust circonference of 81 (91) 99 (109) 116 (124) 134 (142) 153 cm 32 (36) 39 (43) 46 (49) 53 (56) 60 inches, for a completed project with a circumference of 106 (114) 122 (131) 139 (147) 155 (163) 172 cm 42-1/2 (46) 49 (52) 55-1/2 (59) 62 (65) 68-1/2 inches.

If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing up if you want an oversized look.

The model in the photo is wearing a size S for a bust measurement of 81cm - 32 inches, knitted with Linen Quill in Peachy Pink and Midnatssol in colors 9514 and 9516. in version 1, and in Frise et Bouclette DK in naturel color for version 2.

SWEATER CONSTRUCTION
The first step will be to construct the back of the sweater, we will start by casting on the number of stitches for the upper back and then knit flat, in a pattern, while creating short rows to create a trapezoidal shape. After putting the back stitches on hold, we will then pick up the left and right shoulder stitches by making increases for the collar. The two shoulders will then be joined, flat. Then, the front will be knitted flat. The last step of the yoke will be to join the front to the back. The body will be knitted in the round, in a pattern, with ribbing at the bottom. The collar is then knitted in the round, in ribbing, then the sleeve stitches are picked up at the armholes and knitted in the round in pattern, with ribbing at the bottom.
