VEST CONSTRUCTION EXPLANATION
The first step is to construct the back of the vest. Begin by casting stitches for the upper back, then knit the back flat, adding increases to shape it. After placing the back stitches on hold, pick up the left and right shoulder stitches, increasing for the collar. The front is then knit flat. The final step of the yoke joins the front and back, and the body is worked in the round. Finally, stitches for the collar and armholes are picked up and knitted in ribbing.
