The Dune Sweater is a sweater with both a classic and retro feel, while being incredibly cozy thanks to a blend of cashmere and merino wool. The concept for Dune was inspired by a tone-on-tone color palette, using two wool blends that harmoniously mix to represent the two sides of a dune. The pattern features a V-neck with flared sleeves and I-cord finishes for a clean, polished look. This design can be knit with different wool blends, depending on your yarn stash or mood. The sweater is knit from the top down in a raglan construction.

CONSTRUCTION EXPLANATION
The first step is to work the back and shoulders of the sweater using raglan increases. You will begin by casting on the necessary stitches for the upper back, then knit flat, making increases to shape the shoulders and neckline. The body is then knit in the round and can be finished either with 1x1 ribbing or a folded hem, according to your preference. The sleeve stitches are picked up at the armholes, knit in the round, and finished with an I-cord edging. Finally, the neckline stitches are picked up and bound off.
